Tariffs, origin, billing, regulations. None of this should be your job.
Most ecommerce and B2B brands sourcing from Asia find themselves accidentally running a logistics department. Not because they want to. Because nobody else will. Tariffs change every quarter and your supplier doesn't always tell you. Your factory is twelve time zones away and only WhatsApps in a foreign language after midnight. Your customs broker doesn't talk to your forwarder, who doesn't talk to your factory, who doesn't talk to anyone past 5pm. And your invoice has fifty lines, an alphabet soup of abbreviations, and one mystery charge that won't make sense even after you call.
We do all of it for you under one dashboard. One team for origin, freight, customs, and billing. One person to call. One invoice you can actually decode without having to upload it to ChatGPT.

Tariffs that change every quarter.
US Section 301 stacking on Section 122. IEEPA rulings struck down, then re-litigated. EU CBAM and de minimis rule changes. The duty rate you priced into last quarter's shipment isn't the rate you'll pay for the next one. Somebody has to track this. It probably shouldn't be you.

A factory twelve time zones away.
Your supplier in Vietnam, Bangladesh, or Cambodia. Your office in London or LA. Cargo readiness checks, export documentation, booking confirmation, all happening on WhatsApp at 3am, in a language you don't fully speak, with three different people who each handle "their part."

Invoices with fifty lines and three mystery charges.
Local charges. Lift-on, lift-off. Terminal handling. Bunker contributions. Peak season surcharges. BOL, HAWB, FCL, LCL, DDP, FOB, CIF, THC, BAF, ISF. What?

Different paperwork in every country. Different rules every year.
ISF in the US. EORI in the EU. Restricted-party screening. Country-of-origin certificates. Trade-agreement filings (USMCA, CPTPP, RCEP). Each market has its own forms. Each year, the rules shift. Miss one and your container sits at the port.
You build your brand. We move the freight.
We started Wayfindr because logistics shouldn’t get in the way of great brands becoming global ones. Origin, freight, customs, billing, all run by one team, so your team can stay focused on what only you can do.

Every order tracked, factory to fulfillment.
Order-level visibility on one screen, so you always know which order is on which container and when it lands.
Boots on the Ground where you manufacture.
Local coordinators in HCMC, China, and broader Southeast Asia talking to your factory in their language, with origin consolidation when you're sourcing from multiple suppliers across countries.

Customs cleared at destination.
Customs experts in the US, UK, and EU clearing your cargo with the latest tariff and customs rules, so nothing surprises you at the port.

One simple invoice.
Plain English billing across origin, freight, and customs, from our Asia entity or our US entity (your call).
Logistics Operating System
Most forwarders book shipments. Wayfindr runs a freight program.
Freight rates are not a secret anymore. Anyone can pull a spot quote in five minutes. The reason most freight feels broken is not the rate; it’s the orchestration around the rate. Who is talking to your factory at 6am their time. Who knows the latest US tariff regulations before your container hits the port. Who consolidates four orders from three suppliers into one shipment before export. Who tells you a shipment is delayed before your warehouse notices. We call that a freight program. Inside Wayfindr, it sits inside our Logistics Operating System: Bundle is the UI, the team is the engineering, the strategy is the OS underneath.
Bundle
the UI
Real-time tracking. One screen.
Across every order, shipment, lane, and mode. Exceptions flagged proactively, with someone on our team watching alongside you.
Layer 01
Team
the engineering
Origin coordinators. Customs experts.
HCMC and China origin teams with broader SEA coverage. Destination customs in the US, UK, and EU. Single point of contact.
Layer 02
Strategy
the OS
DDP modelling. Mode selection. Tariff intel.
Origin consolidation planning. Quarterly freight reviews. Freight as a lever, not a line item.
Layer 03
“You don’t need to become a freight expert. You need a freight team that already is – and has the scars to prove it.“
Every way your cargo needs to move. Covered.
Air, ocean, sea-air, or road. Full container or shared. From factory floor in Asia to fulfillment center anywhere we ship. The right mode chosen for you, not the other way around.
Modes
Ocean Freight
Full-container and shared-container service across all major trade lanes. Negotiated rates, managed booking, complete documentation, real-time visibility in Bundle.
Air Freight
When speed matters more than cost. New market launches, peak season top-ups, urgent replenishments. A strategic tool, not a panic booking.
Sea-Air
Ocean for the long haul, air for the final leg. Faster than full ocean. Cheaper than full air. Deployed when the numbers justify it.
Road Freight
Inland delivery from port to door. LA to Las Vegas. Felixstowe to Manchester. Truck or rail, priced into the lane (not bolted on at the invoice).

How Wayfindr handles your DDP
Your factory ships. We handle origin coordination, freight (ocean, air, sea-air, road), customs at destination, duties and taxes, and final delivery to your warehouse or fulfillment center. Billed as one simple invoice, from our Asia entity or US entity, your call.
From inquiry to cargo moving. In hours, not weeks.
Freight is fast. We know your factory is ready and your container is not waiting for a kickoff call with seventeen people on it. If your cargo is ready and your documentation is in order, your first shipment can move within 48 to 72 hours of our first conversation.
STEP 01
One call (under 30 min). Tell us what you're working with.
Trade lanes, shipment volumes, factories, current Incoterm setup, current carrier setup, what's not working. No deck. No 47-page RFQ.
STEP 02
24 hours. We build your freight program.
Rate quotes per lane. Mode picks (ocean, air, sea-air, road). Sailing & flight schedule. DDP cost modelling. Customs setup. Bundle access provisioned. Everything agreed before cargo moves.
STEP 03
Cargo moves. Program gets smarter.
First shipment live within days. Quarterly freight reviews. Lane benchmarking. Tariff posture updates as US, UK, and EU rules change.

Freight forwarding, answered plainly
What is freight forwarding for ecommerce and B2B brands?
Freight forwarding is the coordination and management of cargo shipments from origin to destination, covering booking, documentation, carrier management, origin and destination customs, and order-level tracking.
Wayfindr runs freight forwarding as a managed program for ecommerce, D2C, and B2B brands sourcing from Asia, with one team accountable across origin, freight, and customs.
Why DDP for sourcing from China and Vietnam?
For most growing ecommerce and B2B brands, DDP is the simplest path: one accountable party, one delivered price, customs handled at destination.
The risk with DDP is opacity (your supplier embeds freight margin, agent fees, and carrier preference inside the price).
Wayfindr runs DDP transparently, with freight, duties, and customs unbundled so you can see what you’re actually paying for.
What's the difference between full-container & shared-container ocean freight?
Full container (FCL) means you book the whole container. Shared container (LCL) means your goods share space with other shippers.
FCL is faster, has less handling risk, and is more cost-effective at volume.
LCL is more flexible for smaller shipments, especially during ramp-up or testing a new SKU.
When does air freight make sense vs ocean?
Air freight makes sense for high-value low-weight products, urgent replenishments, new market launches, and peak season top-ups.
A well-managed program uses both: ocean for regular inventory flow, air as a deliberate tool with a clear cost justification.
Sea-air sits between the two when the numbers work.
What is origin consolidation (CFS) and when do I need it?
Origin consolidation is the practice of combining shipments from multiple suppliers (often across multiple countries) into a single export load before main carriage.
It cuts cost and simplifies inbound.
It makes sense when you’re sourcing from multiple factories or countries (for example, two pallets in Indonesia, ten in Vietnam, three in Malaysia, all destined for the same fulfillment center)
How does Wayfindr handle US import tariffs and HS codes?
Wayfindr’s destination customs team tracks the current US tariff posture (Section 122, IEEPA, Section 301 stacking) and HS code reclassifications continuously.
We surface tariff exposure during quoting, not at the port.
EU customs rule changes are handled the same way through our UK and EU customs experts.
How fast can Wayfindr move a first shipment?
If cargo is ready and documentation is in order, Wayfindr can have a first shipment moving within 48 to 72 hours of initial engagement.
The full freight program (rate quotes, mode picks, customs setup, Bundle access) is set up in parallel during the first one to two weeks.
Which origins and destinations does Wayfindr cover?
Origins: China, Vietnam, and broader Southeast Asia (Bangladesh, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia).
Destinations: United States, United Kingdom, the European Union (25 countries), Australia and New Zealand, the Middle East (Dubai), and intra-Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan).
Does Wayfindr work with B2B and contract logistics, or only ecommerce?
Both.
Wayfindr’s freight program serves ecommerce and D2C brands as well as B2B importers and contract logistics setups.
The orchestration is the same; only the destination type and invoicing structure change.
Can Wayfindr invoice in the US, or only in Asia?
Either.
Wayfindr has banking set up across our trading regions, so we can invoice through our Asia entity or our US entity depending on your tax structure.
We’re flexible on this.
