Warehousing and Fulfillment, answered plainly

Ecommerce warehousing and fulfillment covers the storage of inventory in regional warehouse facilities and the processing and dispatch of customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping. For ecommerce brands, this means outsourcing the physical handling of your stock to a third-party operation. The goal is to get orders to customers quickly and accurately, in a way that reflects your brand standards, without the capital cost of operating your own warehouse.

A traditional 3PL operates warehouses and handles fulfillment as a standalone service. Wayfindr operates as a 4PL. Your warehousing and fulfillment is managed as part of a connected logistics program that also covers freight forwarding, customs, and last-mile delivery. Your inbound shipments, inventory levels, and outbound orders all communicate through one platform (Bundle), managed by one team.

Wayfindr operates warehousing and fulfillment across 5 global regions: the Americas (US and Canada), the United Kingdom, the European Union (25 countries), the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific (including Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia).

Wayfindr's standard warehousing and fulfillment minimum is 500 orders per month. It puts Wayfindr in the gap between starter 3PLs (rising minimums as they move upmarket) and enterprise contract logistics (effective minimums in the hundreds of thousands of dollars per year).

Wayfindr's pricing is built around the actual fulfillment program you run: storage, pick and pack, packaging, kitting, returns, and the supporting freight and last-mile services if you use them. Wayfindr provides a transparent pricing structure during the four-pillar audit in the first 3 days of engagement.

Peak season readiness is built into Wayfindr's fulfillment program by design and run through forecasting. We work with you in advance of your peak windows to forecast volume by SKU and region so capacity is pre-allocated, packaging stock is pre-positioned, and returns capacity is scaled in parallel.

Yes. Subscription fulfillment is a core service. Wayfindr manages recurring replenishment orders on your customer's cadence (every 2 weeks, every month, every 2 months), tracks the SKU rotation, and runs the data so the next box ships on time without manual intervention.

Yes. On-product personalisation is part of the standard kitting and assembly workflow: engraving on metal drinkware, embroidery on apparel, badges, names, gift messages. Customised orders ship at the same speed as standard orders.

Kitting is the assembly of multiple individual products into a single packaged unit before dispatch (a gift set, product bundle, subscription box, or promotional pack). Wayfindr builds kitting requirements into your fulfillment program from the outset, scoped, priced, and ready to run at volume without renegotiation.

Wayfindr manages returns using a Grade A / Grade B framework. Every return is opened and inspected. Grade A returns (good condition, resaleable) are restocked to inventory. Grade B returns (damaged or sub-standard) are disposed. For every return, we send you a refund recommendation the same day.

For W&F-only switches (freight already in place with another vendor), Wayfindr commits to 14 days from kick-off to go-live. Full Wayfindr Go onboarding (factory to door, including freight forwarding) takes 45 days.

Yes. Wayfindr offers warehousing and fulfillment as a standalone service. Many brands come to us with freight forwarding already in place with another vendor and only need the last-mile fulfillment piece. That works. The 14-day onboarding is built for exactly that scenario.
